The legislated educator:child ratio is 1:4 for this age group. The Vaughn Educator Team welcome families and children to our caring and nurturing environment, where children will develop and thrive revealing their individual personalities. Educators are approachable as our top priority is your child.
Our room is homelike, with cozy nooks as well as open space that generate familiarity and belonging. Colourful art throughout the space that your child has created, plentiful resources for creative minds as children learn through play.
Our outdoor environment offers undercover play as well as the open elements to explore their curiosity, building communication and fostering interaction. Vaughn's outside learning environment has natural grass and a large garden area. There are two shaded areas with a bright soft fall square for active play in the bottom section of the yard. There is a fall zone mat where climbing activity can be set up as well as a large sand pit and water course. Vaughn also has a small slippery-dip into the sandpit and a sensory garden. Harry the rabbit lives in this yard and are well loved pets to all the children across the centre. The room also shares the bird aviary built into the fence line with Redmond.
