​Hepburn caters for children aged 2 - years. ​The legislated educator:child ratio is 1:5 for this age group.
All Educators in Hepburn hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).

This room is always full of activity and chatter, with the children learning every day and navigating their way through the initial stages of independence and social interaction. The children in this age group are very much egocentric and towards the end of their time in this room will begin to form friendships, rather than playing alongside. It is an exciting and noisy time in the children's development.

Hepburn has a large, open,  flat play space for the children to engage in active learning, a sandpit, three interactive play panels built in to the fence line and a our chicken coop.

Hepburn children eat Alfresco style under their veranda most days.

Hepburn's outdoor space is an area to further develop gross motor skills, social and imaginative skills. While outdoors, we explore the natural environment and care for our chickens. There is a lovely sandpit with Bali Hut and decking area for children to explore.
