We are a community child care centre which means we are a self-managed, community based organisation.

We are members of the Community Children’s Centres SA who offer support to all community centres.

The Management Committee is what is known as the governing body of the organisation and they have overall legal, financial and managerial responsibility for the Centre and OSHC.

We are incorporated under the Associations Act 1985, thus its activities are bound by a constitution.

Responsibility for the day-to-day management, provision of services, and administration is delegated by the Committee to the Director.

Our OSHC services have a Manager who oversees the staff and the programming at

both sites.

Prospect Community Child Care Centre incorporating Out of School Hours Care, aims to provide quality care that encompasses all areas of development and meets the needs of the children, families and wider community.

We do this by supporting families as their children progress through early childhood and the primary years and by providing a safe and nurturing environment in which social interactions and further learning through play and exploration are encouraged.
